David J. Wall, CIMA®, CFP®

Founder and President

Dave founded Wall Capital Group, as Wall & Associates, while serving as a full-time police detective for the Addison Police Department focused on financial crimes. Dave previously served as president for his pension fund for over ten years. 

In 1992 he earned the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional designation, and in 1995, he earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, granted by the Investment Management Consultants Association in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

Alisha Wall-Stocker

Vice President Alisha joined Wall Capital Group in December 2018 providing support for our Phoenix office. Alisha has successfully completed the Series 65 FINRA examination, becoming a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. She brings over eight years of experience as General Manager for multiple limited service hotel brands and as administrative support in the Office of Academic Records for Grand Canyon University.

William B. Galgan, CRC®

Vice President Bill joined Wall Capital Group in 2007. As the recently retired Fire Chief of the Calumet City Fire Department, he was a 14-year trustee of the Calumet City Firefighters Pension Fund and a 22-year member of the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association (IPPFA) Board of Directors, currently serving as Treasurer. Bill, a Southern Illinois University graduate, holds a Certificate in the Essentials of Investment Consulting from the Investments & Wealth Institute, and completed the Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®) program offered through the International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFRE).

Joel Truemper

Investment Advisor Representative & Financial Planner Joel joined Wall Capital Group in 2015 and specializes in creating personal financial plans for individual clients in addition to client service and operational support.  Joel retired at the rank of Police Commander from the Naperville Illinois Police Department in February of 2011, serving on the Naperville Police Pension Board for 16 years, and the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association (IPPFA) Board of Directors for 11 years. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Aurora University in Aurora, IL, and successfully completed the Series 65 FINRA examination, becoming a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.

Nathaniel D. Wall

Director of Operations and Trading

Nate is responsible for operations, trading, and client support for our Illinois Public Funds clients as well as overseeing global investment performance reporting standards (GIPS). Operating from our Phoenix office, he also services our individual financial planning clients in the high net worth market. Nate is licensed by the State of Arizona for Life Insurance and Annuities.  He is currently enrolled in the Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC®) program offered through the International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFRE).

Barbara Bobbitt, CRC®

Office Manager  Barb has completed the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional designation, earned from the College for Financial Planning, and is responsible for client service and back office support for our team. Barb received her Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University in Chicago, IL in June 2005.  She has over 20 years of experience in office management in a variety of industries. 

W. Richard Mason, JD

Compliance Consultant 

Richard‘s lengthy career in the investment industry includes serving as Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel for Madison Investment Advisors and Associate General Counsel for the Investment Company Institute. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1985 and the District of Columbia in 1987. He received his Juris Doctorate from The National Law Center, The George Washington University, Washington, DC 1985, with honors and his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, Washington, DC 1982, cum laude.

Talena Krull

Administrative Support

Talena joined Wall Capital Group in January 2022 providing administrative support. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York in 2004.

She brings with her, experience as an Appointment Clerk and Administrative Assistant from a prominent freight company. She also owned and operated a classical homeschool tutoring program, providing training and support to homeschool families.
